Backstory

Long ago, during the time period historians refer to as "The Purple Reign" strange forces began to manifest themselves. People began to die of an unexplainable sickness. Eventually their rotting corpses would rise and move amongst the living in an attempt to bring them into the nightmare which they had fallen.

One Developer to Another

No linked lists yet. Its a memory hog at near 750K. It runs speedy on my 1.8GhzP4, no idea how it runs on older hardware. Have no idea if it can easily be ported to other OSes, though I naively hope so. The source is what it is, but I think I have cobbled together some good LOS and simple state AI stuff from many RGRD sources that I hope proves useful to other aspiring roguelike devs.
